Meaning Behind the flag
The national flag of Ethiopia was adopted on February 6, 1996. The color green symbolizes land and hope, yellow symbolizes peace and the church, and red stands for power and faith.
The emblem of the flag is the yellow pentagram symbolizes unity and harmony among the nationalities of the people in Ethiopia. It calls for a government that creates equality and stability in it's country. |
